Sending Outbound Emails (Quick Send)

Sending Outbound Emails (Quick Send)

Learn how to send outbound emails directly from your dashboard using the Quick Send composer.

Updated June 22, 2026

The Quick Send feature allows you to compose and send emails directly from the AliasFleet dashboard. Unlike traditional email clients which leak your real mail server headers, IP address, and client details, Quick Send handles the dispatch entirely from AliasFleet servers, protecting your identity.

How to Compose and Send an Email

To send a message using Quick Send:

  1. Navigate to your dashboard and locate the Compose or Quick Send button.
  2. Select your sender identity:
    • From alias: Choose the active alias you wish to send from.
    • From Name: (Optional) Enter a custom display name. If left blank, only your alias address will be shown.
  3. Configure the recipient details:
    • To: Enter the recipient's email address.
    • Cc / Bcc: (Optional) Add CC or BCC recipient addresses.
  4. Enter a Subject and compose your message in the rich text editor.
  5. Click Send to dispatch the email.

Attaching Files

For users on Pro and Business subscription plans, the Quick Send composer includes support for file attachments:

  • Attaching Files: Click the paperclip icon in the composer toolbar to select and attach files.
  • Size Limit: You can attach multiple files up to a combined maximum of 18 MB per email. This ensures the message complies with SMTP transit limits after transport encoding is applied.
  • Blocked Extensions: To protect sending reputations and prevent malware distribution, the transmission of executable files and script formats (such as .exe, .msi, .bat, .cmd, .js, .py, .sh, .dmg, and .pkg) is restricted.

Data Privacy and Zero-Retention

AliasFleet is built on strict data privacy principles. The Quick Send pipeline operates under a zero-retention policy:

  • Temporary Staging: When you upload attachments during composition, they are stored in a secure, temporary staging area.
  • Immediate Deletion: Staged files are permanently deleted immediately upon the successful transmission of your email.
  • Discard and Close: If you discard the draft, close the composer, or cancel the message, all staged files are immediately purged.
  • Automatic Purge: Any draft files left uncompleted are automatically deleted after 24 hours.

Because sent messages and files are not retained on our servers, they cannot be retrieved or downloaded after delivery.

Troubleshooting

  • If you experience issues with emails not reaching their destination, please consult our guide on Emails not arriving.
  • Ensure that the sender alias you are using is active. You can check the status of your aliases on the main dashboard page.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does Quick Send protect my privacy?

Quick Send handles all processing on our servers, ensuring your real inbox address, mail client identifiers, and routing headers are never exposed to the recipient.

Are attachments supported in Quick Send?

Yes, users on Pro and Business subscription tiers can attach files up to a combined limit of 18 MB per email.

Why can I not access or download attachments from my sent email history?

To ensure absolute privacy, AliasFleet enforces a zero-retention policy. Staged files are permanently deleted from our staging servers immediately after delivery.
