When your needs change, adjusting your AliasFleet subscription is straightforward. You can downgrade your plan at any time through your billing dashboard.
How Downgrades Work
Unlike upgrading, which takes effect immediately, downgrading your plan is scheduled for the future. We use a scheduling system to ensure you get what you already paid for.
When you choose to move to a lower tier:
- No Immediate Change: You retain full access to your current plan's features, limits, and capabilities until the end of your current billing cycle.
- Scheduled Activation: The downgrade automatically takes effect on your next renewal date.
- No Refunds: Since you keep access to the features for the remainder of the cycle, we do not issue prorated refunds for the time difference.
How to Downgrade
- Navigate to the Billing section in your dashboard.
- Under your current subscription details, click Change Plan.
- Select the lower-tier plan you wish to move to.
- Confirm your selection.
You will see a confirmation message indicating that your plan change has been scheduled for the end of the billing period.
Preparing for a Downgrade
Before your new plan takes effect, ensure your usage falls within the limits of the new tier. If you have more custom domains or aliases than the new plan allows, you may need to archive or delete some to ensure uninterrupted service when the downgrade occurs. Check the API Rate Limits by Plan and Membership Tiers articles for specific limits.
