    Acceptable Use Policy

    This Acceptable Use Policy defines permitted and prohibited uses of the AliasFleet email alias platform. All users must comply with this policy.

    Permitted Uses

    You may use AliasFleet for legitimate email management purposes:

    • Personal Organization: Creating aliases for different services, subscriptions, or purposes
    • Business Communications: Managing customer support, sales, or departmental email addresses
    • Privacy Protection: Shielding your primary email address from public exposure
    • Development Testing: Testing email flows in applications or services
    • Marketing: Sending legitimate, opted-in communications (subject to plan limits, features, and reputation requirements)

    Prohibited Activities

    Email Abuse

    • Sending unsolicited bulk email (spam)
    • Email bombing or flooding (sending excessive messages to a single recipient)
    • Using aliases to harvest email addresses or conduct reconnaissance
    • Creating aliases specifically for spam distribution or bypassing filters
    • Forging sender information or attempting to impersonate others

    Illegal Activities

    • Phishing, fraud, or deceptive practices
    • Distribution of malware, viruses, or ransomware
    • Child exploitation or illegal content distribution
    • Violating export control laws or sanctions
    • Any activity prohibited by applicable law

    System Abuse

    • Attempting to hack, exploit, or compromise our infrastructure
    • Reverse engineering our application or API
    • Circumventing rate limits, authentication, or security measures
    • Scraping user data or aliases through automated means
    • Using excessive resources that impact service performance for others
    • Reselling or redistributing AliasFleet access without authorization

    Content Violations

    • Harassing, threatening, or stalking individuals
    • Distributing hate speech or discriminatory content
    • Sending sexually explicit material without consent
    • Violating intellectual property rights

    Quick Send Restrictions (Pro and Business Plans)

    Users with Quick Send capabilities (available on Pro and Business plans) must additionally:

    • Only send from verified aliases and domains they control
    • Maintain a complaint rate below 0.1%
    • Honor unsubscribe requests within 48 hours
    • Not use purchased, rented, or scraped email lists

    We monitor sending reputation and may suspend Quick Send access for violations.

    Custom Domain Requirements

    When using custom domains (available on Pro and Business plans):

    • You must own or have explicit authorization to use the domain
    • Domains must not be used for deceptive purposes (lookalike domains, typosquatting)
    • You are responsible for maintaining accurate DNS records (including MX, SPF, DKIM, and DMARC verification)
    • We may suspend domains used for abuse or that fail verification

    Account Responsibility

    You are responsible for:

    • All activity under your account
    • Maintaining secure credentials (strong password and 2FA via TOTP or email OTP)
    • Reporting unauthorized access immediately
    • Ensuring your use complies with these terms

    Resource Limits

    We enforce limits to ensure service quality:

    • API Rate Limiting: Requests per minute on our Developer API (Business plan only)
    • Alias Creation: Limits based on subscription tier (Free, Pro, or Business)
    • Quick Send: Daily outbound sending limits based on plan and reputation (Pro and Business plans)
    • Custom Domains: Verification required before use (Pro and Business plans)

    Excessive use beyond these limits may result in throttling or suspension.

    Enforcement

    Violations are handled according to severity:

    Minor Violations: Warning notification, temporary feature restrictions Moderate Violations: Account suspension pending correction Severe Violations: Immediate termination (spam, fraud, illegal activity, security breaches)

    You may appeal enforcement decisions by contacting legal@aliasfleet.com.

    Monitoring

    We monitor for abuse on our servers (located in France and Germany) through:

    • Rate limiting on API endpoints
    • Failed authentication tracking

    We do not read the content of emails passing through our system.

    Reporting Violations

    Report abuse to anti-abuse@aliasfleet.com with:

    • Alias or domain involved
    • Description of the violation
    • Relevant timestamps
    • Any evidence (headers, screenshots)

    Anonymous reporting is available.

    Policy Updates

    We may update this policy to address new abuse patterns. Changes will be posted on this page.
