Account deletion is permanent. Everything tied to your account — aliases, destinations, domains, categories, history, and settings — is removed. There's no grace period and no way to recover the data after deletion.
How to delete
Go to Settings → Security and scroll to the bottom. Click Delete Account. You'll be asked to enter your password to confirm. Once confirmed, deletion proceeds immediately.
What gets deleted
- Your login credentials and profile
- All aliases (addresses become permanently unavailable)
- All destinations
- All custom domains
- All categories and settings
- Billing subscription (active subscriptions are cancelled)
- Email forwarding history and analytics
Active subscription
If you're on Pro, deleting your account cancels your subscription. You won't be refunded for the remaining period — if you want a refund, cancel the subscription first and contact support before deleting.
Before you delete
Download your data first if you want a record of your aliases and settings. Go to Settings → Profile and use the Download Export option.
Alternatives to deletion
If you're leaving because of a specific issue, consider:
- Cancelling your subscription and staying on Free — your aliases keep working
- Deactivating aliases instead of deleting — preserves your setup for if you return
- Contacting support — if there's a problem, we'd rather fix it
